Chris Pratt finally said yes to Madison Avenue this year, signing on as the new pitchman for Michelob Ultra, Anheuser-Busch Inbev’s “fit-and-fun” beer. He’ll appear in two spots during the game. (If they’re each 30 seconds long, that’s $10 million just for the airtime, according to the Associated Press.)
With all that money on the line and all those eyes on him, the Jurassic World star hit the gym as hard as he would for a movie, telling AP, “If I’m going to be having my shirt off… in front of 100 million people, I want to look good, so we worked really hard.”
In addition to wrist curls, Pratt went method, going so far as to imagine character names like Michelob Picklestein and Tommy Ultra.
Only problem: Pratt might have overprepared a bit given the size of his role.
